In most cases, these steps below can be followed to get your Office 365 apps and MS Outlook profile associated with your new GCCH tenant:
- FlushDNS via an elevated command prompt. This step is generally only required if an on-premises server is involved, as DNS entries can be cached, but it does not hurt to run it in all scenarios.
- Start -> Run -> CMD
- Type “ipconfig /flushdns” and press enter
- Remove all MS Credentials from the Credential Manager.
- Start -> Type “Credential Manager” -> Click
- Open Microsoft Word / Excel, and click on the account icon at the top right. Click “Sign Out.”
- Open Windows Settings -> Accounts -> Access Work or School. Remove the reference to the old tenant, which should display as a username@tenant.onmicrosoft.com.
- Click on the “Windows Credentials” tab, and delete any references to Microsoft products. These are mostly Teams/O365/Onedrive.
- Restart the computer.
- Open Word / Excel again, and sign back in with your (new) credentials. Username will be the same, but the password will have been previously provided to you.
- Start -> Type “Credential Manager” -> Click
