- Create a new Outlook profile.
- Open Control Panel and navigate to “Mail (Microsoft Outlook)”.
- Click on “Show Profiles” – and then “Add.”
- Sign in with your (new) Microsoft 365 credentials.
- Open Control Panel and navigate to “Mail (Microsoft Outlook)”.
If the user receives sign in errors, many of which start with an “AADST…”, further troubleshooting may be required. First, we suggest trying the MS Support and Recovery Assistant tool to setup a new Outlook Profile. Various troubleshooting steps can be found below.

This removal will reset the application to a clean slate and remove the license, as well as removing cached Office account information.
