After identifying the owner of the OneDrive that contains the folder that needs to have shared access, the drive owner should browse to this folder via the web GUI.  To do this, the OneDrive's owner should log into their OneDrive account via a web browser, and follow the steps below.  In the event that you are not sure who the owner of the OneDrive is that contains the target folder, you will need to log onto your previous tenant / data store or check with your manager to confirm the user, and then inform the owner which users they need to grant permission to.

  1.  The owner of the share will need to browse to the folder that needs to be shared with other users. Mouse over and click the three vertical dots, and choose "Manage access" from the drop down menu.

  2. Search for the users that should be granted access and add them to the list.  Use the "edit" pencil on the right side to choose if the user should have full access or read only.  Check the "Notify people" to send them an alert informing the user of their new data shared with them.
