1. Go to the windows search in the start menu and search "Outlook". Right click and select "Pin to Taskbar". Then, open it.


  2. A pop-up will appear to login. Enter your email address and click "Connect"

  3. If prompted for email credentials, use your full email address and password and check Remember my credentials.

  4. After logging in, emails will begin to download. If the interface looks unfamiliar, you may be in compact mode. Switch to full-detail view by clicking the arrow on the bottom right.

Outlook for Mac

To set up Outlook for MacOS, 

  1. Open Outlook for Mac
  2. In the top left corner of the screen, navigate to Outlook > Preferences...
  3. Select Accounts. 
  4. In the window that appears, click the plus (+) button in the bottom left corner and select New Account...
  5. In the Set Up Your Email window that appears, enter your UConn email address click Continue.
  6. Enter your NetID password.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click Done.
  9. Close the Accounts window.


Apple Mail

To set up Apple Mail,

  1. Open Apple Mail.
  2. In the menu bar, navigate to Mail > Add Account...
  3. Click on Exchange.
  4. Enter your email address and password as prompted
  5. Select Mail and any other Apps you wish to use with this account.
  6. Click Done.
